Christopher Brelje, the firm's founder, was a partner with Lewis and Roca's Phoenix office. After 14 years with that law firm, he left the partnership in September 2000 to form Brelje and Associates PLC, a law firm dedicated to employment immigration law. The firm has grown steadily since 2000 and is comprised of four full-time immigration lawyers, four paralegals and four administrative staff. In 2006, Brelje and Associates PLC moved to a new office building at 3080 North Litchfield Road in Goodyear, Arizona.

The firm's clients are located throughout the United States and the firm has immigrated foreign nationals from over 40 countries.
