Kirsten Kelly has been practicing
employment-based immigration and nationality law for more than three
years. She has experience preparing nonimmigrant visa
petitions including H-1B and L-1; assisting clients with adjustment of
status and consular processing; advising corporate clients on visa
options and procedures; and researching and analyzing admissibility and
other immigration issues. Kirsten is a member of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is licensed to practice law
in Arizona.
Kirsten joined Brelje and Associates PLC in
September 2006. Previously, Kirsten specialized in immigration business
law as an Associate in the Labor and Employment Law group at Ryley,
Carlock and Applewhite in Phoenix, Arizona. Kirsten also worked as a
Legislative Assistant at Dickstein Shapiro Morin & Oshinsky LLP, a
large firm in Washington, D.C. Kirsten was the director of the firm's
political action committee (PAC).
Kirsten received her J.D. from Arizona State
University College of Law. During law school, Kirsten was an extern
with Judge Roland Steinle of the Arizona Superior Court. Kirsten
received an award for pro bono service for her work with the Arizona
Justice Project and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
Kirsten received her B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young
University where she was a student government officer, a teaching
assistant, and an assistant editor of an international affairs journal.
